I am happy to announce we have a practice schedule for this semester! We will be practicing twice a week in the Multipurpose Room in Dillon.
Tuesday: 3:30 pm – 5 pm
Thursday: 3 pm – 4:30 pm
I know these times are not optimal for many schedules, but they are the best we can get due to the construction with Dillon and the limited space available.
During practices we focus on building strength, flexibility, and balance through stretching, conditioning, and basic gymnastics skills. On campus practices are geared towards newbies, as the gymnastics is limited, though all are welcome! As the semester goes on we will try to start off campus open gym practices which are a much better environment for experienced gymnasts to work on harder skills as well as newbies to practice what they learned in on campus practices.
Practices will start October 11th and are open to everyone (so bring your friends)! I hope to see everyone there!
